As kids growing up in Kangiqsualujjuaq in Northern Quebec; we would go trick or treat and we all would be on sugar high the next day. As an adult now, I feel sorry for the teachers on November 1st, they will deal with all the students on sugar high the day after or even days after Halloween. One activity we looked forward to after the trick or treat was and still is; anyone who wants to put on a costume can do so and go to the gym and try their best not to be recognized and have an original costume. We have few winners for: best costumes, someone we don't recognize, someone who makes people laugh. Happy and safe Halloween to all the kids and adults!!

Comme enfant à Kangiqsualujjuaq dans le grand nord de Québec; on allait ramasser des bonbons et on était tout énerver le lendemain à l'école. Comme adulte aujourd'hui, j'ai de la sympathie pour les professeurs qui doivent être avec les étudiants le lendemain ou même des jours après l'Halloween. Un activité qu'on attendait après l'Halloween; les gens costumés allaient dans le gymnase et le but était de ne pas être reconnue par les gens et avoir un costume originale. On a quelque gagnants pour: le meilleur costume, quelqu'un non reconnaisable, le plus drôle. Je souhaite un bon Halloween en sécurité pour tous les enfants et adultes!!
