Inuit feast in Montreal
Thursday, December 14th, 2006
Each last Saturday of the month since the past six years we've had inuit feast in Lachine and Dorval depending if it's winter or summer. The majority of the people that go to the feast are inuit living in Montreal and it's sourroundings. Alot of them are there too for hospital reasons. This monthly gathering is an acitivity that we inuit living in south appreciate very much since we get to eat traditional food and the most important aspect is; we get to see and be part of inuit in Montreal; that is the case for me anyway.
This next feast is the most popular one of them all since it's a Christmas feast. There is a draw for Air Inuit and First Air tickets for two. Bring your friendly smile; to an environment without alcohol and drugs. Come enjoy the company of Inuit for the evening while remembering the spirit of Christmas. I will see you there with my ever contageous smile
The feast is at St-Stephen Anglican church on 44th Avenue in Lachine at 6:00pm
