My son Nally had his convocation at McGill yesterday. He has his bachelors of Science (physics) and Carol and I are proud parents. I just want to share this one photo of him and that is his grandmother (Carol's mom) in the background. Life goes on with a smile.

I have been enjoying the wonderful foods of inuit monthly feast in Montreal for the past years that I have been living in Quebec city. The gathering helps me and many other inuit in the Montreal area; it is a time in the month where we are close to other inuit in the big city; a time and place where we eat Caribou meat, arctic char, ptarmigan, beluga, blue berries and many more that came from our far away land. The Association of Montreal Inuit is organising a gala to raise money on Thursday May 31st at Dorval yacht club. It cost $100 dollars to join the gala. $100 seemed alot of money when I first heard about the gala. Then I reflected the organisation's goal and what it has done for me since it first started. $100 is not much since it has helped me and so many other inuit in the past and they will help us with the monthly feast and many more things in the future. I thank all the members of the committee who volunteer their time and heart to help the inuit in Montreal and wish them well. Alain Rochefort celebrates his 45th birthday on May 1st 2007. Alain is the son of Madeleine and Gilles, brother of Michel. His the proud father of Amanda, Robert and Sivanau who is now in heaven and uncle to Noémie and Simon. We will celebrate his birthday with a supper at Jardin de Chine.
